Chris became a member of the Samson Centre in April 2010, having taken early retirement due to ill-health in September 2008. His career started in retail management, moving into sales management and then marketing, latterly with the Homeform Group which covered several home improvement brands including Moben kitchens, Sharps bedrooms and Dolphin bathrooms.
Chris was diagnosed with MS (primary progressive) in 1996.
He is married with one daughter and lives in Woking.
