How we are funded

The Samson Centre provides essential services for people with MS that are not available through the NHS. We receive no funding from the government, so are totally reliant on donations from individuals, companies and fundraising activities.

The reality is that we need to raise £300,000 a year just to keep the Centre going. Around half of this is contributed voluntarily by our members, but we still run a substantial deficit that we need to fund each and every year.

Funding acknowledgements

The members and Trustees of the Samson Centre for MS would like to thank the following organisations for their generous support over the period of the Covid 19 pandemic, when raising funds has been particularly challenging. Without this financial assistance, the Samson Centre’s services would have been severely compromised.

“Not funded by the NHS or the government, self-funded.”
